Online sessions include:
initial testing – using special tests / questionnaries that will help us identify what type of personality you have; what type of cognitive schemas are activated; what type of worries do you have; other clinical disorders (such as Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, etc.);
informative materials and resources – that will help you understand more easily the situation you are facing;
individualised evaluation reports;
homework and other activities – to help you increase your cognitive and emotional self-control skills.
Homework is part of the therapeutic process and is designed to you make you more responsable, more involved and more active in the process of cognitive and behavioral change.
Online therapy or counselling sessions are similar to face-to-face sessions.
The only difference is that you can see your therapist from any location you choose (for example, your car, your office, on the beach and so on).
It is important though to feel safe and secure during our online sessions and to avoid any distractions (such as your children playing around you, college working, and so on).
